Crag Summary
A real gem for long vert lines. Recently developed, fresh sharp rock with excellent friction. The view of the rock from the village is beautiful and provides excellent motivation for the walk up. We climbed on the left hand side, the right hand side is split into two levels and the upper level might be more tricky with kids.
It felt important to be especially aware and considerate as climbers given how the crag is embedded within a rural village – you park right in the middle (take care not to block anything) and walk through little streets past houses to reach the crag – we had smiling greetings with everyone we passed.
A note on the approach: there is a short stretch of scree that is unavoidable but if overall you take care to stay high (to your left as you approach the crag) you can avoid it as much as possible. Also there are a few mentions to take care of territorial shepherding dogs. We did not encounter them but saw the shepherd huts – definitely worth staying aware.

Wow Factor
A beautiful view of the rock from the village, and a beautiful view back down from the top

30 mins with a bit of route-finding due to splitting tracks. Beautiful, through the village and along the slope, a few things to take care about (see more detail above)

SW facing so sun pretty much all day. Scrubby but not extensive shade at the base.
Playtime Base
Safe but narrow, a bit slopy in parts
Harder Climbs
5-7 heaven
Kiddy Climbs
Nothing super easy, but lots that are nice and vert – interesting cave and features too
