Crag Summary
It was a happy happenstance that we visited here – after we were ousted from Omis due to risk of falling rock we were looking for somewhere to stop on our way out of Croatia towards Bosnia. This place popped up on the crag for ‘Deep Water Solo’ and given it was on the way we thought we’d check it out.
Whilst the actual climbing is a bit limited (100% check the water levels before venturing onto the DWS, the rock is rather crumbly), it was a beautiful, clean beach with shade under the trees, fish in the sea and some lovely boulders for the kids to explore.
- Style: DWS (check the water level) and kid-friendly boulders
- Parking: 43.40908, 16.76046
- Topo and Approach details: The Crag provide enough information to figure it out. I’m not sure this crag would be in the formal guidebooks.
- We visited on: Monday, 30th September 2024
- Who else was there: all to ourselves
- Camping: We stopped for the day, however a little autocamp up the road looked convenient and by the sea – Park4Night ID: 21317
Nearby
Omis is just up the road. This stretch of coastline is very scenic indeed.

A little scramble down from the car parking spot.
Shade
South-facing beach but olive trees on the beach give enough shade for a picnic.
Playtime Base
A place where kids can play all day.
Harder Climbs
The DWS is easy but rock rather chossy and water levels can be rather low.

Lots of fun boulders for kids to explore where they can be easily spotted too.
